so i just have one question.... i found a tension rod install thread, but on that thread it was saying that i shouldnt torque or tighten the bolts until the wheels were back on and the car was back on the ground...

"PAY ATTENTION TO THIS! DO NOT TIGHTEN OR TORQUE THE BOLTS UNTIL YOU PUT THE TIRES BACK ON AND LOWER THE CAR TO THE GROUND OR YOU WILL BUST THE HELL OUT OF ANY RUBBER OR POLY BUSHINGS THAT YOU HAVE!!!!"

now i am just thinking that how would i be able to get my butt under my car to tighten the bolts when the car is on the ground?? haha yeah just to reiterate im installing the Kazama adjustable tension rods.

so yeah any advice on how to do this install would be greatly appreciated.

I have Kazama tension rods and there are no rubber bushings. Write up that you saw must have been one for OE type tension rods. Just install your Kazama rods with torque specs from FSM. Drive around a couple of days, jack your car up later and make sure to tighten them again with a torque specs. I did that to mine, but everything was like the way it was when I installed them. You will love it once you have them on your car BTW. Another suggestion? Get subframe collars. You will fall in love with your car all over again.

Ya how would you be able to do that? On OE or aftermarket. I did the same just install and check on them later. Don't know about the collars I put in SPL's aluminum subframe bushings and you can really tell a differnce. Its alot of work but worth it in the end.
