We originally bought the roof rack to haul my son's (and his friend's) snowboards. But since it's on the car.........

We had a blast. Today was a beautiful dayto be on the water.

Wow, that looks awesome! Love the beautiful flowers in your garden, the colour is so nice. Were those pictures taken today? You must live in a nice warm climate!

Thanks! Yes, the pictures were taken today. We live in southern Pennsylvania. It's not what I would call a warm climate, but today was really nice.

Oh I guess that isn't really a warm climate but all your flowers are up and they look beautiful! Love the colours.

I'm not very familiar with that boat. That's a white water Kayak insn't it? I'd love to try that sometime.

Usually it starts warming up around this time in PA. You can almost always count on there being some sort of cold snap or snowfall in late March/early April to piss you off.

You got that right! About two weeks ago I mowed my lawn and woke up the next morning with about 1/4" of snow on it. I wasn't happy.

I have some questions about that rack... How exactly does it attatch? I think I see clips going under the doorframe there... do they? If so, is it noisy when driving? What brand is it? And does it have bike adapters?

Its been in the 60s and 70s recently. This time of the year, we get bipolar weather. It's sunny and warm a week and it rains or snow for a day every week in early spring. Late spring, occasionally there is a few tornados and such, mostly cloudy especially in the mid morning and afternoon.

The rack system is made by Thule and yes, you can buy attachments for just about anything (kayaks, bikes, skis/snowboards, roof-top luggage...ect). It does make a little wind noise. It's nothing horrible but I do notice it. The entire rack can be removed easily without marks or damage to the car. Here is a thread I posted back when I instaled it:zerothread?id=395444

I believe that having kayaks on the roof officially lifts the Versa's awesome quotient out of the negative.
