if i start up the car cold, i get 16-18 in of vac. then it would go to 5in of vac but the idle stays the same. by touching the gas pedal i get 16-18" vac back but it would stay for very long.

do i have a leak? air sensor is ****ed?

the car fell on its face yesterday when i try to take off from a stop, cause it wouldnt rev pass 2000rpm. i shut the car off for about a few minutes and shes back to normal(still having the problem above).

what should i check for?

Pressure check piping and intake manifold...use and air compressor.

Block turbo inlet with a soup can or other ~3" diameter object, the hook the air compressor up to any vacuum line, and pressurize to 10-12psi...you'll find the leak.

yeah be careful to watch the pressure, you can blow out the bov seals if you jack up pressure.
