Ive heard quite the opposit about the SSA Manifolds.. keep us updated on it. I hope you get some good longjevity out of that thing. Same with the turbo itself.

Edit: side question since it kind of pertains to this topic, sorry if i'm jacking your thread. just say something if I am. But howcome the SSA turbos arent the most reliable thing? are they bad rebuilds? replicas of garrets? whats the problem with them? no one ever said why.

SSA turbos are built by blind munchins with Parkinsons disease.

From what Ive heard, they arent made to very high standards or with precise equipment. It'd be like trying to build a Lego car wearing thick winter mittens.

well, so far my turbo has been working well without missing a beat, i cant complain, i have boosted up to 15psi... my whole setup was a budget build... the main areas i splurged on were the detach 550's, enthalpy tune (awesome work).. 300z maf, and earls braided lines for oil and coolant, plus an atp turbo oil restrictor.......my car starts every time, the main complaint i have about the full SSAC kit is that the IC piping SUXXXX.. at least most of it, and the DP flange was clocked wrong and hit the floor, so i had to cut it off and have a custom DP made, but the o2 housing fit like a glove, i ordered it directly from them so i paid out the *** for the kit.....and the fittings they send you do not work well for the gt28 turbo.....the turbo seems great, it has been doing what i need it to do....everyone has their own opinon...i have mine and have my *first hand* experience with it i like it, and if it blows, i might just buy another one, or a stock gt28....but so far so good...
