Actually I am in the middle of making another one. But this one will not be a chopped up stock manifold. It will be made completely from scratch and I should be testing it out in the next few weeks. I want to see how it does against a stock manifold in my S13 on the dyno. Then a friend is going to buy it and we will see what it does on his S 14 stock block with the 232 cams.

Im in the middle of my Ka-t build with a fully built bottom end and head, with bc stage 3 cams and valve springs, with a sc6131 turbo going on it. Maybe we can meet up sometime. nice setup. lol got you beat on price too yeah I have a "back up" turbo I managed get out of my budget but it is kinda blown(probably makes boost still just oils from old/bad seals) also this is my second motor, the original 190kish sohc lied to me about the temp, all water ran out, and it got the tap like the clap but for cars

like I said IDK what this motor has gone through in its life but I personally beat the **** out of it. Daily. I'm still in the ooohhhhhhh aaaaaaahhh stage with it all, I've gotten sideways a few times even ran a few guys, hardly had to go past 4600ish, I keep thinking its about to redline and its not even close so I think it might last a bit if I keep the boost down and dont rev out to redline all the time like n/a needed to. I would like to go bigger but the budget is not looking good for it atm, movign is a *****.

hahah yea right now im probably just hitting the 1500 dollar mark... forums and local shops have saved me a bit...

my first turbo motor lasted about a year.. and i beat the hell out of it... the last one was a freak accident.. and the one i have now is good.

man if those seals are blown, dont use it lol i had to clean about a half qt of oil out of my intercooler and clean all of my couplers and bov lol

hey man its all about learning.. you have guys that sit on their *** and try to save up ALLL these parts in **** thinking that they will not have issues... why they do that you have already boosted your motor and learned tons of things.. there have been enough of us that have blown things up for you to read about and say ........... yea im not going to do that lol...

good stuff bro... as you can see my setup evolved from a laughing stock to a good setup.. and still when i have the beginner setup, i put my car in the 13s...... funny ehh lol

only thing is bro.. once the heat hit those home depot couplers enough,, they will pop off

i am sure they will. I am getting a holset over winter to put on and play with (probably a Hx35, Hy35, or H1C). Maybe then i can finally put in my injectors. I cant trust my wide band because of the gay turbo flange on the t25 leaks. I am not able to get the 5th bolt in. I hope by then i can have a daily beater so i can really turn things up.

Lmao yea bro

i could have cut it at the end to make it go down. but you know that would have made it almost impossible to clamp..

i also had to insert a piece of pipe inside the end of the cold pipe so that i could clamp it hard enough.

i hacked up the greddy hot pipe.. well cut a section out and flipped it upside down.

Great DIY setups fella's. Quick tip, use hairspray to keep the couplers from seperating.

I noticed that too. The pipe would just.. collapse. Mine's cut right where you see the blue hose and then from there I just tossed the old piece and replaced it with some ABS drain pipe 90* elbows. Hopefully they won't blow off under 7 psi. The car isn't even finished yet, but it won't be running that sidemount for long.

..And certainly not at anything over 7 psi.
