LOL.

I love the part when Rove asks "Is there any media in this room?"

He should go back to MCing the Correspondent's Dinner.

One day Rove will die...it will make the news, but in the 24 hour news cycle he helped create it will probably receive like 10 minutes of coverage and then he will be remembered only as the awful human being he is (or at that point WAS)....I can't wait.

No conservative input on this one?

I mean c'mon, this was FUNNY. I know you guys are proud of your party, as you should be, but this guy has been an embarrassment to the GOP long enough.

It's okay to laugh at him, even if you support McCain.

I am not conservative, but ... here goes.

Sure! There are plenty of nuts on both sides. I do not like Rove either.

No Greg, Matt, Wheelman, 96QOwner?

Maybe I should evaluate the success of my threads based on who DOESN'T respond, lol.

Eh.

He's not running for office, he said a dumb thing.

Maybe Biden IS a doofus. He'd know better than I would, but I don't care either way.

LOL ... maybe.

I actually watched Rove respond last night when Colmes grilled him about it. He admitted it and apologized, but explained that he was referring to Biden's whacky idea about partitioning Iraq - a case where he should have described the idea and not Biden. I doubt Biden was truly offended, unlike another candidate, who might have made a great big, whining deal out of it.

It was a blowhard doofus idea. You can't partition Iraq, as much as we might like to. Biden voted for authorizing the war, but then condemned Bush for doing it. Biden was adamantly against the surge. Not a very good track record for someone who is supposed to know what he's doing.

I don't think Biden gave a damn either.

If most people had an opportunity to spend some time around public servants and elected officials, they'd see that this sort of banter goes on a lot.

Then they all meet up to golf and drink beer.

Yeah, except Karl Rove. I don't even think that other Republicans want to drink beer with Karl Rove.

Anyway, I just thought this was funny and, when no one responded, I used it as an opportunity to jokingly suggest it was because you all were seriously concerned about it.

We've certainly had our gaffes on our side, what with the comment regarding the hurricanes that "God is on the side of the Democrats".

People will say stuff like this every week, on both sides. It's good when everyone can come together and laugh about it.

THAT was a classic.

What SHOULD have been said was, "There's no God, but if there WAS, he'd be on our side."
