I didnt see you jokers talking about this, but this was a huge news story last week in our family. Being out of town last week, I hadn't realized Radovan Karadzic was captured until my cousin mentioned it. And still then it didnt clickhttp://www.france24.com/en/200...MONDE

He is going to have to face some tough charges over in involvement in Sarajevo and Srebrenica.

Here is a pretty good summary of all those charged with war crimes in Former Yugoslavia.http://www.un.org/icty/glance-e/index.htm (click on "key figures" on the left hand side)bud

It would be amazing that there are demonstrations in favor of him but it's a matter of where you are coming from plus the government control of the press (propaganda) you are subjected to.

I wonder if we (or Afghani officials, or Pakistani officials, etc.) are prepared to handle the demonstrations if and when Bin Laden is ever caught.

I wouldnt get worked up about the demonstrations. From the sounds of things in Belgrade, there were a few hundred people (if that) that show up to demonstrate. This by no means reflects the whole sediment in Serbia. Just the fact that Serbian Police turned over Karadzic to the ITCY shows that things are changing.

A few months back, it sounded like more people rioted in Serbia over the West (specifically the United States) recognizing Kosovo as an independent country. This resulted in the US Embassy being set on fire and for a brief time stormed by hooligans.

Also, this leaves:Goran Hadžić and Ratko Mladić still at large. I wouldnt worry about Osama bin Laden still being at large. If Karadzic is any indicator, he will be caught sooner or later.bud
