The Import Faceoff blows but go anyway since there's not much going on around here.

No meet planned as of yet, still super busy, but late sept./early october we'll have one. Weather should be nice and tolerable too

What's new with your car Josh?

Well lets see. Got nismo motor mounts installed which helped out quite a bit. They make a little vibration, but not hardly noticeable. Put in a peak performance transmission mount, but took it back out once I realized it was the race version, and damn did it vibrate. So I filled the factory transmission mount and put it back in. Got my z32 wheels done, but I don't run those very much cause they're too heavy. I also bought a circuit sports exhaust for $250 shipped on here, not sure if i'm going to install it yet, I may wait til car is turboed. I wish I would have got that clutch from you, but oh well. Hey what kind of price could you get the nismo kouki front lip spoiler for?~Josh

yep, and i'm leaving thurs. for stacey's funeral so again the meets have been put on the back burner, but i'm looking at either the 13th or the 20th for one, even if I can't be there it will happen. Details when I get time.

If we shoot for a meet 13/20th as Dan said I'll be there and I'll try to bring my laptop to give you guys some sneak peek shots of anything I shoot in LA while I'm out for the JCCS.

let me know if I can help out Dan. I have been working way too much again so I can tear my car apart this winter. Time to come out and enjoy the fruits of my labor for a bit; even if I have to drive in the buick.

So, are we doing this on the 13th or 20th or what, cause I missed the one last week. I know I said I would be there, but I had to take my dog back to the farm because the neighbors were being cranky. Sorry I couldn't make it last time.By the way, I got a KA24DE out of a 93 at Pick n Pull for $180. Its currently in a friends garage waiting for a rebuild. If anyone has any ideas for me I could sure use the help. And no, I'm not gonna junk it and get an RB or an SR.

I can get a complete rebuild kit from a friend at Autozone for around $350, and I'm thinking of forged pistons, but not sure where the best deal is. Help me out guys!

If the meet is today I can make it out (though I doubt it is or else Dan would've posted up more clearly about it)

As far as ideas, hop in the KA24DE and KA24DET forums and read up. I would be happy to provide suggestions if you want to catch me on AIM ( OneWhiteS13 ) but the answer to your question lies in what you plan on doing w/ the car. Do it right or do it twice.

It's all good Dan, I can't speak for anyone else but I have been very busy too. I'm definitely down for a meet though so I'll keep an eye out for when you set one up. I have the hatch back up and running so we need to go for a drive and you can tune my ECU until the floorboards fall out.

You don't have the diamond plate floorboards installed yet, so they can't fall out because you can't go fast enough without them.

My brother saw you in Lawrence earlier this week I believe. He said the car sounded really nice as always (he would have been behind you in his lime/charcoal coupe)

I'll get to work on the floorboards, 12 speed transmission, and dual NOS bottles so this thing will be ready for racewars.

ah, I wondered what you would have been in Lawrence for. I'll tell him he was on crack. Your car is unique enough I highly doubt there is anyone around that could be mistaken for you.
