This will be my first tour, as well as the first tour hosted by the Kansas City Region. So needless to say, I'm excited and a little nervous.

I thought I would post up some good info that would be useful to any one who is coming in town for the event, and drum up a little support as well.

Keep in mind, that the facility has medium grip asphalt, kind of like that asphalt to the West (No, it's not THAT bad). We have a 10:00 am start time and 95 db @ 100' sound limit, due to the proximity of the adjoining neighborhoods, so keep that in mind if you plan to attend.

Entry Cap is 250

One of the guys who came in for the divisional said that the Drury Inn near the Complex was nice, and he is staying there for the nationals. I haven't seen any info on where the "official" hotel is. But, if you are coming in from out of town, I would look for anything from the Sports Complex East to probably Blue Springs (About 12 miles >15min drive straight down I-70) . Once you start going West of the Complex it starts getting rougher pretty quick. There are several nice hotels to the south on I-470 as well (toward Lees Summit, possible a bit longer of a drive though).http://maps.google.com/maps?hl...ab=wl

Site Address: Truman Sports Complex(Arrowhead/Royals stadium) Lot L.

There will be a Test and Tune as well as an EVO Cone Clinic.

The Local Forum is http://mokanmotorsports.com/forums/index.phpDue to the close proximity in time and distance to nationals; if you plan to come to the KC event, and want to leave your rig in KC, and fly back in for nationals, please feel free to post up on the local boards. There are several individuals that have indicated they have space available for free, and if there is no more space available, we should be able to help in finding a reasonable price storage facility.

I think that is all, if I forgot anything, I will try to post it up.

hmmm, this is about 6 hours away from me...might try and make it if I find a car by then (the 240 is still in NY and I don't think I'd have to much fun in the Lexus).

It's tempting, but I've gotta save my vacation and money for the Pro Finale and Nationals...
