http://WWW.kcir.net is having a compact/imprt race on may 31-june 01. dan jackson and http://www.kcsmostwanted.com was there last yr (sunday) doing there thing. THere were two 10 sec nissans, three 10 sec supras, at least 5 10 sec hondas to pick on( all hondas were shop cars racing on saturday) along with 50+ slower cars. Later on saturday night,All the big players will be at hooters with there hoods open to "display their goods" on 40 highway/noland rd for street racing on a vacant road. Anyone planning on showing up???

On sunday,dan jackson and kcmostwanted will be performing after 1 pm and there will be a wet t-shirt contest noonish. There will be a stereo sound-off in one corner. The deejay will be playing by the car show. THe food is pricey....so bring your own. I went last year on sunday, It was ok, but when the bikes started doing their tricks.....oh %^&*......WOW!!!!

god, wish I was there those dates, I WILL be in KC though next thursday through memorial day, and Dan and I are meeting up.............

anyone else want to meet up, unfortunately I won't be bringing my S14, but I should be renting a new Mazda 6, can we say drag strip anyone???? LOL!

Repo: I am from Kansas City, born and raised, I still have family out there, not to mention the best damn BBQ in the whole entire WORLD!! Every time I go home I gain like 15 pounds!!

Damn, I always find this stuff to late. I would love to go to this, but I don't know if I can make it. What day does the best stuff happen? I just live in topeka so it won't take to long to get there, but I have a pretty busy weekend.

If you want to race your car....go on saturday.More cars will be out racing. If you would rather watch the people push there cars harder....go on sunday. I'm going on sunday. The cars racing on sunday are racing for the money.
