i have a s13 with 220 plus miles on the clicker and i wanna go turbo. I considered all the swaps sr20, rb20/25, vq's everything and i wanna keep a ka24 in it now obviously my motor is worn out so i wanna swap it for a DE rather than rebuild the E thats in it. I have been searching like crazy for info on the swap yes i know you can swap a De from a 240 but finding that motor right now is almost impossible at least in any worthy shape but the DE from a altima is everywhere. My questions is can u swap a ka24de from a altima into a 240(s13) and yes i have searched but have yet to yield any results from it.

I THINK the bolt pattern for the transmission bellhousing is different on the Altima KA... the motor mount design might be a little different as well.

Its going to take some fabrication. I went from a sohc to a dohc and kept my sohc transmission and it bolted up the same. but turning fwd to rwd is a little more difficult.

well if anyone has a link to some more info please forward it i cant find any rwd ka24de in any kind of good shape while the fwd ka24de is every where and easy to find

If you are willing to take a chance, you should just buy one and see what it might take to convert it. It might be as simple as modifying/custom making your own motor mounts, and an adapter plate for the transmission.

well I dont know about in florida but in south carolina I can find RWD ka24de's everywhere man. have your tried craigslist and crap like that?
