I finally made it to the dyno and I am very happy with my results. I was aiming for 230hp with this set up and I came just shy of it. here is the dyno sheet.

Car feels great and pulls hard. Thank you to everyone on this board who has helped me along the way. I could not have done it with out you.

well, i must admit that response is the best thing in the world on a daily driving basis. i didnt notice that torque curve at first. 250 lbs of torque at 3000 rpms.........tractionless in first and second for sure

There is no chance of traction in first or second and third will spin the inside wheel if you come out of a corner hard. And yes it is on stock internals of an engine with 196,000 miles and stock clutch for now.

No, but close. The Super 60 is a little larger wheel. But if you ask for my $.02, the map is a little cleaner for the Z31, but top end power is better on the Super 60. With a little more boost, you could do some more good with that Z31. BTW, here is the map for the 60:http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/tu...0.gifand the Super 60:http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/tu...0.gif

well im personally running the sixty trim so i feel ya on the comment about first and second gear. third gear is wishywashy as it depends on road conditions. um what are ur a/f's btw when u did that tune or pull?

Nice numbers man!

That curve is a little bumpy up top there though. Is that just raw data with no smoothing whatsoever? ...It should be a lot smoother than that if your engine is running well.. Wheels skipping on the dyno roller maybe?

AFR's are in the 10.8 to 11.4 range all the way through the power range. I think I need to lower the plug gap and that would smooth out the top end curve. I had to pull alot of timing also to remove the knock on 91 octane.

Does anyone know of a way to read total timing numbers on the SOHC motor?

hehe very similar to my setup. I'm boosting 10psi, stock engine, 165k miles, stock clutch. Man, now I want to hit the dyno to see what I'm puttin' down.

Wow... and that was on max smoothing... Definatly look at plug gap.. Although, most of the high HP cars curves look smooth because thier graph reads "200-300-400-500" while yours reads 180-200-220-240" so of course, yours is more defined.

But if you ask me, it looks like you need to pull some fuel from about 4000rpm on AFTER you ensure timing is correct. Under 11s can give you that rigidy looking curve. I pulled some fuel after I dynoed and noticed a smoother pull as well. It seems good now, but once you get that graph looking like the beginning of a roller coaster, its nice...
