Check your hard idle contacts in your idle switch. should be closed at idle if not you need to drop your TPS a little more.

what would be the best way to tune my idle speed , TPS and timing , because if one is off it ****s everything else up, last time i tried it i set me TPS to about .43 volts at idle dissconected it , turned the car off , turned it back on set timing to the 3rd mark from rthe right , made it idle at 650, then plugged everything back up, and my car wasnt running too good, can nistech or anyone help me out/!!!

thanx

The order in which to set everything is.IdleTimingThen TPS.

Since your idle and timing is set with TPS disconnected its adjustment is unimportant.

once you have those 2 set. Then plug your TPS in and set it to .43volts with the key on car not running. But an impprtant part of this proceedure is the car be fully warmed up before making any adjustments. The coolant temp needs to be above 176 degrees.

alright i took dissconnected the tps, turned car off , on,set idle to 700 , set timing to 3rd mark from right , turned car off and set tps to about .41-.43..... but my car still runs half ****ty, it idles at about 750 when cold and drops a lil when warmed,, qany suggestions, my car accelerates real slow if i try gunning anywhere below 3000 roms, so could ity be my TPS is bad, or MAF , the voltage on my MAF 12v constant (white wire ) is about 13.5 the black and white is about 1.7 and the ground is at about .4-.7 ialready regrounded, where is there a good ground , cause i have it grounded to the - batt terminal, , and i get about 250 on a full tank , so im getting killed over here. i waste about 45$ a week for gas, so please if u can help me out , ive already changed aLL THE OBVIOUSE 02, CAP ROTOR, FUEL FILTER PLUGS, , AIR FILTER, PCV,. SO IF ANYONE CAN HELP I D BE GREATFULL, THANX

your airflow ground is too high. needs to be under .2v. Run the extra ground to the intake manifold. You are splicing into the ground wire for the MAF.
