you can remove it if you want but your engine will run hotter and your gas mileage will go to s*it.

I would leave them on. All your going to do is throw engine codes, unless you dont have to go thru emissions. How much is Really to gain by deleting the vac lines?

Yes you can remove it. use the search there are some good write-ups on vacuum system removal. Also the affect on your mileage is negligible.

i dont have to worry about emmisions, i live in indiana, and the way i see it, if semi trucks can blow out huge plumes of black smoke then a back fire or two from my 2.4 gas saver is no big deal. if i lived somewhere where they made me pass emissions tests , i would tell them to shove it up their arse!!! thats just one more way on the man controlling ur life.

I see your point (not that I nessesarily agree with it), but Diesel smoke is actually soot and doesnt get trapped in the atmosphere.

yea now that i think about it ur right, it is soot, i dnt kno alot about deisels, all i kno is the whole passing emmisions tests is nuts. thats like putting a cap on what we can do to our ish, i dont kno, i also think speed limits are pointless. im just naturaly against rules i guess...
