okay so i searched, and kinda found an answer but dont know how it works.

first off i have been removing egr and vac lines from my kade and while doing so i capped off one line right at the electrical plug, and then realized that the plug also has a vac line running to the fpr.

so i decided id look into the situation and came across this post and pic

zerothread?id=153164

they show the same pic a couple of times, but in one they circled the fpr, and a vac line running to the butterfly valve...

i went outside to my engine (its out of car) and i dont see how he used the vac line properly from the butterfly...

and also that half the metal vac lines in the pic are missing from what my de has..

ive looked up the devac threads, but havent really come to one with great pics of during the devac process to get them all but in that one pic all of the metal lines and the 2 elec connectors are unbolted from the block...

so im assuming i can unbolt all those lines and cap off whatever is left, and im assuming i can run a vac line from the fpr to the butterfly but just wanted a definate yes before i do it.

any help would be much appreciated

You can disconnect whatever vacuum lines, but make sure you're getting a "intake from manifold" TO FPR. If you need to reroute ok, just make sure you have a good connection from the manifold. Hope this helps.

oh ok, it's tee'd with the butterfly valve in the pic, and yeah, that's fine to tee, as long as either one have a intake source they'll work fine
