As some of you may have read in my last post, zerothread?id=377727, the injector on cylinder #3 wasn't working. I threw some injector cleaner in it for the hell of it, and within a few days, it cleared up and was fine. The car ran better than before this happend. Yesterday I got gas, drove for about a block, started missing...again. I thought it was that injector again. Went back to the house and pulled the plug wire on the 3rd cylinder and it was firing. Pulled all of them out one at a time, and it's the #1 cylinder this time. Haven't checked the plug or anything yet, but its getting fire, I can see the spark. Would this be bad gas since it happend right after I filled up? I put another bottle of injector cleaner and fuel treatment, but no luck yet. If anyone has any clue whats goin' on please let me know. I'm about ready to give up on the 240.

have you changed your fuel filter?..if so..did you inspect it for debris in your fuel line?..seems to me..just my opinion..you have an issue with clogging fuel injectors..might be garbage in the fuel system...might allso be just failing injectors..did you upgrade them?..if so..did you get low or high impeadance?...low is for after market stand alone ECU's..and high for OEM..if im correct..anyways..give us a little more info on it and im shure we can come up with sumpin...ps...are they oem side fed? or topfed ?

I haven't changed the fuel filter in quite a while. The last time it done this, a couple of weeks ago, when I checked the ohms, they all read between 11.5 and 11.8, except for the failing one, #3, and it read 1.44. They are all OEM side feed. Stock ECU. After a bottle of injector cleaner, it cleared up. I haven't had a chance to check the #1 injector yet, as my dad has the multimeter and I can't catch him when he's off work. I'll try to pick up a fuel filter and let you know how that turns out. If this new info gives you any other ideas, please let me know. Thanks!

Alright, I appreciate your help dude. I went into the restaurant to eat today, and before it was still missing. I came out and fired it up and it was running completely normal. Whenever you figure out which route you're gonna go, if I haven't ran across some yet, I'd be happy to take them off your hands. Email is [email protected]. Just let me know. Once again, thanks.
