KADE Lifter clicking (93 240)

so im thinking a lifter is siezed not sure though its a loud clicking noise that increases with revs coming from the 4th cylinder right below the valve cover. one guy said to pop the vc off and try tightening/adjusting the lifter. others are saying to try adding lucas to the oil as it might not be getting oil. im running 5w30 syn. in it right now. any other ideas?

that lucas stuff doesnt really work. and your supposed to use it everytime you change your oil for it to have an effect. but its like $10 a bottle. i tried it for a while but it didnt do s***. just keep the oil really fresh. i also stepped up to 10w30 syn and that seems to help a little. but you may have to either replace them, or at least bleed them. (correct me if im wrong but they do have hydraulic lifters right? ive only dealt with sr lifters..)
