Hey guys, can anyone tell me a few spots I can check on the motor to see if I'm running too hot (for a KADE)? I'll be using an infrared laser. Also, does anyone know what temp a j30 diff should be running (I guess by checking the cover)? Thanks guys!

When i use mine i check it at the thermostat housing. You can also check the exhaust runners on the manifold to check for a missfire. I think that the differential temp runs from about 100 to 250 degrees.

Thanks. I forgot to ask what temps the spots I'm checking should be?

Most cars run around 175-200 degrees depending on the thermostat, ambient temperature ,etc.
