KADE is acting WEIRD!! help

ok, this kinda all of a sudden started happening.. Whenever I drive my s13 and are coming to a stop, I push the clutch in to go into neutral and the car will idle low (around 600rpm) and will be ROUGH. then goes back to normal.. then kinda back to low, before it would jump between about 1200 rpm to 600 rpm at a stop.

ALSO

when the car is under full throttle, maybe about 4200 rpm the car will start to lose power. BIG TIME! like it doesn't even wanna accelerate anymore. Then it'll kinda gain power back, then gone again... so on and so forth... does this trough all gears.

Im thinkin that maybe the power loss thing has to do with the fact that the car has a Walboro 255 fuel pump, but stock injectors.( did have 480cc injectors before cause the car was turbo). And maybe I am just kinda flooding it with too much gas. Im going to do a fuel pressure check tomorrow adn determine that problem..

PLEASE!!! Help would be MUCH appreciated!

Did you change something when this started or did you hear/feel something when it started happening?

For now I wuold just suggest a general tune-up to include MAF and IAAC cleaning. If you did change something then change it back and see what happens.

faulty fuel pressure regulator. i took off the vacuum line from mine and it runs great, no power loss or hesitation. i need to replace mine for sure.

idle problem probably has to do with the iacv. clean it or replace it.

so what... you just took it off and Viola! its fixed??

Wont that pose a problem? like a long term problem?

---And the "all of a sudden" thing, I was just driving one night, and came to a red light and put the clutch in and the car just wanted to die... its kinda been doin that ever since. the problem has kinda eased a bit, but that was after some cleaning of the trottle body and piping...

ALSO! I was told about, when I get on it, There is smoke that comes outta my exhaust, since its white, I can tell the smoke is black ( or a dark color) cause it leaves residue on my bumper..

- Still waitin on my friend to get here with the fuel pressure tester..

I think you are on the right track with a fuel pressure problem. follow through on that and let us know.

Another thought, When was your fuel filter last changed? Clogged filter can cause problems also.

wow, you and I should be brothers. I was standing over the motor of my baby with the hood raised and was just looking and thinking.... and took a look at the fuel filter and just decided to take it off... and WOW! Im glad I did, I took it off and poured it out, and there was sooo much gunk crap in there.. Got a new one, cleaned the hoses, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Plus the last owner put it upsidedown!! hahaha, And with it being upside down slowed the fuel delivery down. YAY! problem sloved! Thank you gentlemen!!
