So im in the process of rebuiliding my KAAZ lsd and Im running into a problem. I put all the new plates and everything into the casing but I cant get the casing to close enough so that the 4 allen bolts can reach there threads. The japanese instructions say dont apply unnecessary force to the casing if it doesnt close properly, but Ive tried readjusting the clutch packs over and over to try to get them to line up and I really think that they are aligned.

Considering that there at each end of the casing, does the whole assembly need to be compressed by a press or something so that I can close it?

If anyone on here has experience rebuilding a KAAZ, especially for a 240sx please let me know what you did.

I needed a press to put mine back together. I even tried pushing while a friend put the bolts in but it didn't work.
