Okay, I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find it using the search function.

I bought a KAAZ 2-way LSD for my 1989 RB20 Powered 240sx SE hatchback. What do I need to install it? I've heard that I need new output shafts??????? a little :help would be very appreciated. Thanks,~Tony

yea you need two 38220-52F01 side shafts. The kaaz doesn't use the 38220-92L00 side shaft like the factory VLSD.

Yup, two output shafts is all you need, just be sure to replace worn seals!! because mine has a little leak from pinion seal after the KAAZ in......

As for installation, unless you know how to adjust the backlash, get yourself a pro do the job.I got my KAAZ installed at KAAZ USA in LA, great service. 10 hours driving from SF bay........

BTW, did you get just LSD only? I paid $730 plus tax and shipping from Phase-2. It comes with a KAAZ 2-way LSD, one pumpkin gasket, 2 press-in bearings, 2 output shaft spacers, and 2 shaft oil seals. Highly recommended.

Cheers

I don't know any specs for backlash- but I can adjust it if I get some specs. Where do I get these output shafts? I got my LSD off ebay straight from KAAZ. It came came w/ all those parts you mentioned. Thanks for the replies... keep it coming.
