I believe you can use any synthetic 80-90 gear oil, like AMSOIL.

The output shaft is sticking out too far? Is the retainer clip in the way. Did you measure your spacing?

there were no clips on either shaft when they came out? do i need them?, its sticking out less than a 1/4 inch. the man who installed my lsd said i could trim it down and it would work. he said he did it on a ford.. but w.e. if i trimmed it it would just go into the beveled part not even into the gear groves. also i used Kaaz gear oil and some spilt would it be alright to fill the remaining up with somthing else or should i not mix?

Do NOT use synthetic oil with your Kaaz. Use regular a** GL-5 conventional. Synthetic will make your clutch plates chatter.

Something very wrong both sides should be the same maybe not shimmed correctly. Use non-additive non-synthetic oil Motul 90PA LSD. Change every 3k miles.

theres no need to change your gear oil as much as your engine oil the 15,000miles that nissan recommends is fine

^^ so you should change spark plugs every 3000 miles too. I would think there is something in the way or its not snapped into place. If its meant for the car it should fit. No reason why you should cut it

kaaz lsd needs an oil change every 3000 miles, or do it every time you do an oil change to your car whichever comes first. are you sure the shafts are on the right sides and not switched? i use valvoline been doing it for almost 4 years and my kaaz is doing good. i have a 2 way btw. hope this helped
