Ok everyone, I am doing a group buy for NICO on KAAZ Solid 2 way LSDs for the S13 and S14. These are the new units with the RS plates that retail for $995.00. If I get 5 people I will let them go for $870.00. Oh ya, I'm also offering free shipping to anywhere in the continental United States and a free container of gear oil with each order! :icesangel

Is this just for the 2-way? Or could we get the 1.5 way diff as well?

I do not have any 1.5 ways in stock but I could order one for you if you are interested. Email me at [email protected] with your year and tell me if you have the VSLD stock or not.

I'm giving this about 2 weeks or so. If we do not have the required number of sales I will leave it open a little longer.

The difference between a 1.5 way and a 2 way boils down to when and how much the diff locks. A 1.5 way diff locks fully on acceleration but only partially on deceleration. A 2 way fully locks on both acceleration AND deceleration. The difference between driving styles is not remarkable unless you are talking about extremes. For drifting, the 2 way defiantly has the advantage and the only time that the 2 way will not be quite as easy to drive as a 1.5 way is in an autocross situation where you are pushing the car to the limit in tight corners. Under that condition the 2 way will want to slide. However, practice, proper throttle control, and the right suspension can negate this weakness and provide times that are just as good as can be achieved with a 1.5 way.

As far as shipping is concerned, we ship everything that is ordered before 5pm pacific time the same day. With the group buy, orders will be shipped the day we meet the minimum number of orders.

I'd also rather have the 1.5 over 2. The last couple of days I've realized how bad the open diff sucks. Nothing like almost getting stuck on a small incline because you have to angle due to a lowered car. :mad

I'd rather have the 1.5 because I don't want it to work as much on deceleration and a 1.5 would work much better for autox which I'd like to start doing.

also the 1.5 way clutch style is better then the viscous, and it is very streetable, and since mine is a daily driver i dont want to have to be annoyed with wheel hop and other stuff.
