Hello,

my idle in mu NEW 93 240sx is about 1200 when hot, what i do notice is that the car does try to idle down sometimes, but gets bumped back up to 1300 (like when i am driving, i slow down to a stop and the idle goes down, but then it picks back up), so after doing searches, and reading the service manual, i went and tried to pinch the hose on the Idle air regulator , i couldn't do it right i think because the idle did not change. (maybe it is an air leak, but couldn't find a leak). well i thought what the hell, since it is the most common cause, i'll just try to change the Idle air valve and see what heppens. well that's until i looked it up in kragen, and those things were 113.00 is that right. or is there another palce where i can get it cheaper.

Also what is "Hunting" read it on the service manual and couldn't figure out what it was.

thanks for the help.

Thanks,

I will try that, but just to be sure,

I have to:after reaching operating temperature and With the car off, disconnect the Throttle Position Sensor Harness.then turn on the car, then adjust the screw to seeif i can lower the idle, right!!!
