I just got my hands on a super charger from a 4AGZE. I just got it after talking to the owner. SInce he has like a few of these lying around I bought one from him. Now I was gonna use this for a special project but then I decided why not try to use it on my 240sx? However I'm not sure where to start, I know I'll need a new ECU from Jim WOlf, new fuel rail, bigger injectors, new head gasket I guess ( I have no idea if I need one or not) and also a basic idea of where to mount the super charger, I also got an intercooler thats tiny as all hell since I don't want anyone to know what I did to my engine. So any ideas and help is appreciated. I heard the max I can get is 10psi from what the guy tells me since he's pumping that much from his

First of all, let me say I have no clue about supercharger sizing, but that sounds like too small for 2.4 liters, if I'm not mistaken the 4AG is 1.8 liters. If you decide to use it anyway, you don't need a fuel rail or a head gasket, just some 360cc injectors, ECU, some brackets to mount the supercharger and a belt to spin the sucker. To change the boost you would have to find a pulley that will allow the SC to produce the desired psi. Also, I think you would have to mount the SC in such a way that the rotation of the pulley would pump air IN, NOT OUT OF the engine, that might be a problem too. A lot of SC's are self lubricated, that's always nice...

Actually, the 4AGZE is a 1.6L, and that Supercharger is TINY!

And if I am not mistaken...that supercharger is clutched, and is not like a regular Eaton blower.

I was just looking at some guys dyno who had a diferent pulley running more boost and he had 108KW or power. I think the 4AGZE equiped MR2 is 140hp.

While this is a supercharger thread, would a SC off a Frontier of Ford Lightning be too big for the KA? Can you get too big of a SC or too small of a superchager?
