I am curious myself. Is there anyone here who will give a straight answer or is it true that the RSX will win?

stock RSX-S runs 15.2 sec in a 1/4 mile with all the mods lets say its 14.7the average KAT will get you into 14s...easy...so you have a 70% change of wining

the torque on the KA is gonna destroy the honda, and his power is probably higher as well. Figure in the rwd traction advantage and you have your answer. Assuming both are equally skilled drivers.

Isnt the RSX lighter than the 240?....If so then I thought it would of been pretty close since the ka24et was only left at 7psi. thats why i asked the question.

if you have a vlsd and are good at launches you'd win for sure. but open diff? i dunno as long as you get a good launch you should be ok.

i think the nissan will win cuz there's a high probability that the rsx driver might not be as skilled as you. j/k. it would be a good race, but for real, the nissan will win

Wait how heavy are the RSX's? Cause my lil' KA24DET hatch weighs in at 2600 (+ or - 20 pounds) with full interior. Could a stock RSX S(meaning it would have all the luxury ie heavy items) really weigh that much less?

PS: If you can't beat him then there is probably something wrong with your car, I know you have one less cam but you should be at least lowish 14's and it is most likely on the street and his traction will be crap.

ka24et hands down, rsxS are overrated, rsxS drivers are clueless (for the most part) and are just kids following the hype.

now, the only concern you should have is that rsxS are known for their top end (like all Honads), and they are pretty quick on the higway, w/ your ka24et I'm not sure if you haev the stock speed limiter or what, but if you have the stock limiter and decide to go on a highway run, they will take you, but from a 0-xx acceleration you will win, simple as that.

btw rsxS are heavy

im in a car club with a couple of loyal honda owners and they think hondas make the world go round, one guy with a 02 civic i,h,e was talking **** and said he wanted to race, so we raced and i spanked him, he then pawns his lose over to his boy with a rsx type-s, so now were going to race. the guy with the 02 civic now has a crx 1.5 that hes putting a turbo on so i know he'll want to race again
