Problems:couple things i ran into. first thing are my gauges my psi gauge reads 100 all the time . i installed a new vdo oil psi sensor and placed it into my oil relocation kit. do i need to put the sensor where the old one is located. heres a shot of that
now my water temp isnt reading at all. i searched and read that the red plug near the thottle body is where i should install it but it doesnt read when i wired it into the blue wire comming from the sensor. do i need to wire the black wire to the gauge also? theres a bottom sensor on the lower rad hose do i use that?
the digital cluster i installed was for a dohc now it doesnt read a sohc rpm. i bought a sunpro external tach. it comes with 4 wires red (12v) black (ground) white(illumination) and green (signal wire) i can install all the other wires but where do i get the signal for the green wire? anyone have a diagram of a sohc rpm signal output on the ecu. also i heard i can look in the back of my cluster and find the TAM screw which gives out the tach signal. i know in analogs they have this option but not sure about digital tachs.
My bov is recirculated right now. the new bov i have do i need to do same thing?spring is 14psi but wastegate is 7psi. can anyone help me understand the relation? do i need a MBC to lower psi from the bov? can i buy a new intake without the recirculated opening?
safc2 i bought it cheap but dunno if i should or not. i have the 480cc rx7 injectors and a q45 maf still. it would be a good upgrade but i have no clue how to tune the safc2. i have got a spare ecu. would it be a better option to sell the safc 2 and try to get someone to tune the spare ecu? anyways hope i get good response from all this. ill keep updating on my project.
