So I removed my charcoal canister this morning from my ka24e, as well as spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body. I capped off the vacuum lines from the charcoal canister and left the line that connects to the hard line opened. I go to start my car and it starts for half a second and dies..anytime after, it wont start. I did not touch any of the fuel lines.. any idea what can be wrong? Fuel pump works, spark is good.. when the car is put to the "on" position, I hear a hissing noise from the 3rd injector and can see moisture from the injector hole - could a leaking or bad injector be a cause of this? Also..the spark plugs are pretty much drowned with fuel - took them out and airing out the cylinders now. The car was running last night..now after I remove the charcoal canister, it wont start.. . help!

too much Fuel and you can easyly Foul the plugs I would change them as well as check the Cap and rotor button.

even if you injector was bad it would still start, It would just be stumbleing alot. but it would run.

the canister shouldnt have an effect its just a purge air tank for your fuel cell so it doesnt build pressure. as long as you leave your hardline open so it can vent there shouldn't be a problem

i fixed the issue.. the vacuum line connected to the hardline should not be blocked/capped off it is to vent the gas tank. i changed my injector and replaced spark plugs and it started right up.. if your car doesnt start, search for vacuum leaks and check for spark and fuel..

Great to hear you can drive you ride again

I wasn't refering to my car not starting I was refering to the other guy who has the same problem as you.

All my cars run good.
