ka24e wont start help?

got a ka24e coupe with a bad motor, swap another 24e out of a running car but it cranks no start. checked all grounds (head to firewall, battery to block and harness to coil) all okay. nothing. changed harness and coil to the setup from the running car nothing tried changing to ecu nothing. help help help

do you have fuel? do you have spark? is there any power going to the coil ( power at the harness)

make sure your fuel pump is working. and like WWJD said make sure youre getting spark (easiest way is to pull the #1 wire hold it near the block and watch it spark) when you hooked the motor up, did you hook up the fuel lines correctly? if the fuel feed and return are switched the car will not run. (sadly i did taht on my first motor swap- drove me nuts for 10 minutes before i realized what i did) usually those are the only two things that will make a car not run at all. (well there are other things but those are the major ones)... hope that helps....

fuel lines are good pressure is good. no spark

Does you r ECU Have power (Do the lights turn on?)

had same problem, car would crank but not start and no spark.

your distributor is off couple teeth, fix that, then if it does start then runs and dies after 10 mins. then you have a bad distributor.

so check timing on distributor, it is possible that this swap engine had bad dizzy., so 20 mninutes could have ur car starting up again.
