Ka24e wont rev over 2500rpm

I just replaced my head gasket on my car a week ago alond with the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets.After i put it back together and timed it the car will not rev over 2500 rpm but it idles fine? ANy ideas on how i can fix this?

Did ya check your MAF to see if its connected? It sounds like your MAF is not connected.

def MAF check it. even if the MAF is screwed up it should run past 2500 but if its disconnected it wont go past 2500
