KA24E WONT GO OVER ABOUT 3.5K RPM

Thanks for looking at my post.
im sure this has been answered b4 but ive searched the forums and cant find any related topics with my symptoms so pls dnt get mad that i ask..


i have a single cam rebuilt top end and just finally got it all back together but now i have a problem, my motor wont go over around 3.5-4k rpm could this be maf or 02 related? or should i try messing with my dizzy? any help would be appreciated

RPM's being limited to ~4k sounds like safe or limp mode. Try searches for either of those and see if you find anything.

Also, try disconnecting your MAF completely and see if you notice any difference. If it's the same, I'd suspect the MAF is bad.
