ka24e, what other vehicle has it?

what nissan trucks have this motor for the 89-90 240sx? wanna get another motor, but cant find any. so I will look into the trucks. and are these goin to hook right up to the transmission and fit in?sorry if this is a dumb question, Ive never looked into trucks.

upgrade to KA24DE, there are alot more of them. Just my opinion. The truck version may have some variations anyway. I think the easiest way to get a KA24E is from a junk yard or someone on these forums who doesnt need theirs anymore (best option)

yeah no junk yards around me have any 240sx motors, so i was gonna check the trucks

My sisters 240 has a 96 truck head on it. I think it's a 96.

The trucks kept the ka-e for a few more years than the 240, didnt they????????????

THE HEAD PORTS ARE DIFFERENT, THEY PRODUCE MORE TORQUE THOUGH. I THINK THE BEST SETUP WOULD BE A 240 KA24E AND A HARDBODY AUTO transmission THE GEAR RATIOS WOULD KILL THE 5 SPD 240SX IN ACCELERATION.

Different or not my sisters 1990 240sx hatch is running a newer model truck head, and it works just fine. I can't tell a difference in the responce or anything from my car.

Doesn't the stanza have the 89-90 sohc motor in it? I'm pretty sure. Please correct me if i'm wrong though.

so ****, what motors can i use? i checked my email, check urs man, thanks.

but in the meantime. the reason behind all this is cause i have a rod knockin. cheaper to fix or replace motor?it just started and i parked it, it has only 89k on it also.
