So I stripped the valve cover bolt threads on the head. How hard would it be to re-thread the head?Suggestions?A write up maybe?

not to hard if your retreading just that bolt; they sale the kit around $20 bucks or so in ur auto part store . you will need to know the size of the original bolt tread(not the head of the bolt) & redrill the same hole just a millimeter or so wider for the new tread.,,,just follow directions on the kit.

What if I've tripped like 4 or 5? Will re-threading so many holes compromise the heads integrity?

If you are just retapping the hole then yes. They probably won't be able to hold the proper torque and may leak. You can still heli-coil though, after you do that. Heli-colis are pretty strong and are a good repair here.
