i have an 89 240sx with a ka24e engine. has 195xxx miles on it. it has had the seals and header replaced. Do you think there would be a problem putting a turbo on it with about 7lbs boost

who cares about what amount of boost pressure you're running. What we care about to answer your question correctly is what the power level you're seeking is and also what kind of fuel system you're going to be using. People don't realize what a very small factor boost pressure is until you know what size turbo, HP goals, fuel system, and what your doing with the car. So, find that info come back and let us know what you found out. Its the only way we can answer a question like this, sorry. peace.

i don't remember them all off hand but i know the head gasket seal was replaced and a few other major one, anyways i plan on redoing all the seals again when i get the turbo, but do i have to chage all the stuff with the fuel setup or can i leave it stock? and if changing it is the case what actually needs to be swapped? I've never done a turbo b4

swapping to atleast a walborro fuel pump would be a good idea.

you would punch yourself in the face for not listening....no but seriously your stock one is probably not up to par for boosting, even a brand new stock pump would not be happy. the walborro is only about a 100bucks and it took me 28 mins to install. just connect the wires. red to red black to black iirc

yeah they have the crx video of the car boosting with no injectors and no tune but whos to say how long that lasted but definitly if you got a new fuel pump($100) and some bigger injectors($50-200) and a decent tune all of which wouldnt be to much more to your total and give you a much more reliable car.

thanks for the info i'll be looking into purchasing the fuel pump at the same time i get the turbo kit. As for the fuel injectors could you toss me a recommendation as to where i should get them from and what type to go for. I've never done a turbo setup before so aside from the kit I don't really have too much knowledge as where to get certain parts at.
