Hello all I am doing a turbo project on my 240sx. I have just a few questions. How well does the stock valve train hold up to boost? How much can stock connecting rods take if they are brand new? Assuming I replace the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, and injectors; how much psi can the stock fuel rail take? Is a new maf sensor required like the Z32 or the J30, or can your stock one work? Last where can I get a SOHC manifold and I understand the concept and theory of adding a turbo but if anyone has like a walk-through or guide that would be most helpful. Thanks in advance.

stock rods and valve train should be fine, the important thing is that you don't rev the crap out of it. Don't boost over 6500 and your rods should'nt give you any problems until 350 or so hp.

The stock sohc maf will max out right around 240 rwhp, so it depends on your horsepower goals. As far as the rail goes, i don't know too many people that have had to replace it, even for 720's and stuff.

manifold...either get one made(custom) or pick up the self weldable JGS Manifold. It's 150+shipping from them.

As far as anything else, if you search through most of the other sohc turbo's that have been saved through here; it will answer the rest of your questions on set up.

Dude I'll tell you nicely before someone else does. You honestly need to search. Almost everything you've said has been covered many times.
