KA24E turbo (parts)

Anyone know were i can get a turbo manifold for the KA24E, or if there are any turbo kits available for it? I am in the process of making my own but 1. Cant seem to find a place to make the pipes for me 2. realnissan.com shut down so i cant find a turbo manifold for the KA24E

I'm in the same boat. I think I'm going to build my own, though. the website http://home.att.net/~MabuhayCarlos/ has some good pictures of Ka24 turbo manifolds under the "Turbo" section, then "Entire Exhaust". the piping and flanges look pretty easy to get ahold of, but I'm going to have someone else weld mine. I'm wondering, how are you planning to manage fuel? I'm looking at an apex'i super AFC but I'm not sure if it will work. I'm trying to build on a budget, and I dont really want to spend $1500 on a fuel management system.

you dont need one to use bigger injectors, just a bigger maf tube with your own stock sensor will let you use bigger injectors, i plan on using a 300ZX twin turbo maf tube but i dont know what size injectors i can use with it. I figure 370CC and that should be good enough for me

good post keep me updated. Im planning on going turbo soon too. But planning and doing are two diffrent things, fullt ime h.s. student doesnt help much neither

well, my motor has 187,000 on it, so I'm planning to tear it down and do some internal work this winter. I'll wait and see, but right now I plan on using the stock rods and crank. prolly do some light port work and a good valve job too... I want to make at least 300hp.back to the topic- I am going to try and make my manifold from 304 stainless and run an external wastegate. not sure what turbo yet, but it needs to be able to push 18-20lbs of boost (not for this build, but just so I don't have to buy a bigger turbo later) I have a turbo from a '79 mustang turbo pace car (2.3l) but it's got an internal wastegate and I don't think it will make 300hp on this car.also, I have some questions about the electronics needed to make this work. I like the apex'i Super AFC but again I'm not sure if it will work. I would like to talk to someone who owns or has owned a Super AFC. also, does anyone have experience with the greddy profec B spec II boost controller?

Just found this a few minutes ago.. http://uhrp.com/ they are selling a ka24 turbo manifold for a t3, and asking $450

but that is for the KA24DE, i wonder if they will make parts custom it seems like they do that stuff
