jgstools.com, they have a starter kit that has the manifold, downpipe elbow, turbo, oil lines, and a few other parts for around 1700. Its all high quality components. You'll have to fabricate your own intercooler pipes and downpipe to connect the elbow to your exaust but its very doable.

Jgs' project car is a s14, it comes with the dohc engine, your car has the sohc thats why the intake setups look differently. Theres a few people on here with pretty nice sohc turbo setups, if you search you can find them and ask them how they like their setup and parts used so you can get a better idea of what route you want to take.

I didn't realize you had a truck until just now. Yeah the intake is different, you can still make it work with what you have. I have a de in a 4x4 frontier that I built up that I'm waiting on my manifold to get here to turbo from jgs, but I got it from a member on here.

Yes it would bolt up but you'd have to do some mod's to make it work with your harness and ecu. I'd just stick with what you have, it'll work.

PICS.

But if you do have a true ITB setup, you either will have to make a plenum for it or switch back to stock one.

But with out pictures and more accurate info on your current set up it's hard to do anything.

Also if you could, you should download firefox which is a web browser. It has a great spell cheking capability which will greatly help you out, and in return makes tour posts a lot easier to read.

Don't worry I'm a horrible speller too and use it very often.

And Welcome to NICO..

I believe he has the factory setup which is just a single tb facing up towards the hood. You can get a tight radius mandrel bend or a low profile 90 degree silicone coupler to connect the cold piple to the tb.

Ahh From the way I read this post, he made it sound like he bought the car with some type of an ITB setup heh.

Yeah I hear you, the first time I read the post I didn't even realize that it was a truck and not a car.

I built a turbo kit out of JGS stuff for a buddies hardbody. The intake mani is all different, the MAF is like part of the intake. It sucks really...

But a basic low boost kit like the JGS kit will work fine. We had his running 9;bs of boost with a FMU and a MSD BTM for timing retard.

Let me know if you need a hand, or suggestions.

I am looking into a similar setup for my 97 Hardbody. If you have any pics that would be a huge help to see how you did it.

What turbo was used, and how was the performance after install?

A little work with a hack saw and some jb weld, you can make the air flow sensor into an adapter.
