ka24e transmission w/ sr20det motor?!

hey guys i was wondering if anybody on here knows if the stock 240sx transmission (5-speed) mounts up the stock sr20det motor?!

It will if you use the SR bellhousing. But thats IF you have one.

hmm, is swapping it hard to do? like will it cost alot?! and can i just get it done at any mechanic shop?!

i have had to do it like 4 times now, its not too difficult if u have some good basic mechanic skills. there are a few tricks that i learned on the way, just get the diagram from the FSM or somewhere like mitchells or alldata then go to work. make it will shift begore u put the bolts back in, it sucks having to take it back apart to pull the gear off of 2nd & 3rd at the same time, cus when u slide the bellhousing back on, it like to do this
