ka24e transmission

Okay, I did a search and found a long dead thread. Tried posting on it with no luck. I kno from searching that a sohc ka24e transmission work on a dohc ka24de engine. However, I could not find which clutch parts to use, sohc or dohc. I've heard two different ideas on that: One that the sohc uses the same clutch parts as the dohc, but then why do most clutch manufacturers list a clutch for 89-90 and a different part for '91-'98. I've also heard that it will work with the clutch parts and pilot bushing off of a sohc.

sohc transmission on a dohc, yes. you'd be using dohc stuff...
