ka24e transmission ka24dem motor will they fit?

i got a de motor and i need a new transmission mine is shot i got an offer for a ka24e transmission, ive looked up on all kinds of forums and some say you have to change out the bell housings them some say its a direct fit i need a final answer im picking it up today. please help me.

The bottem end is the same (expt pistons I think) but it will bolt up with no problem.
