Ok, here's my thing, I have an '89 240 FB. For Christmas, my stepdad and I did an automatic - manual swap. The next thing on my list is to get a KA24DE. My question is, would it be better to completely swap the engine, or is it possible to just swap the head to a DE? Which would be cheaper/easier?

A full de engine swap is much easier. The headswap is possible but complete de engines for 240sx are an easy find. You can expect to pay about the same for a complete head + intake manifold as full engine.

Actually I just spent all day taking out my E to swap in my new DE. Getting the old motor out was a major pain...but it didn't help the guy who owned the car before me never maintainanced it. There's oil everywhere...

Anyways, tomorrow I'll start putting the DE in, so if you're interested go ahead and e-mail ur problems and I'll let you know what I come up with. The major problem that I'VE come across so far is the wireing harness. Make sure you get the wireing harness for your new ECU (get the DE ECU or your timing will be off) because the stock E ECU wont fit right. Good luck with your swap. It should be MUCH stronger than the E...stupid single cam... I don't know what Nissan was thinking back in '89....... ((don't get me wrong, I love Nissan's Stuff!!))
