Post

Greetings bretheren, (God, I hope i'm in the right section this time). Gotta another question for u gurus out there. Some of you might have remebered me from the -swap list- post. Anyhows' , as luck would have it, i received the rest of my parts the other day and i'm about to work on my wiring harness for my S14 SR20DET. It's going up in the stirups next weekend because of work and all. However, in the quest for a "beater" for the time being, I've come across an 1989 S13 with the KA24E. It's just had a blown head gasket repaired and there's a small exhaust leak but nothing major. But, let me get to the point at hand. I've been spectating this whole debate about which is faster: A SR20DET or a KA24DE-T. So what i've decided to do is witness this first hand . When I pull the S14 KA, I'm setting it aside for the time being refurbish and slap another T25 on it. What i'm really asking is that is it possible to switch the KA24E to a KA24DE in that chassis? And if it is, does anyone know where i can find a SOLID write up to this procedure? Thanks for your time and BRING ON THE FLAMES!!!!!!
