do you have to switch the ignition coils or can u wire up the one from the sohc..... for example if i cut the plugs off my sohc harness for the ignition coil will it work on the dohc harness

Just wire it up like it was from Nissan otherwise you may run into problems.

I used the proper dohc coil for my dohc motor swap and had no trouble. People claim they've done it, and I'm sure they have. However, there is no readily available information on the subject that I'm aware of, and therefor the best bet (outside of having an electrical know-it-all take it on) is to use the coil intended for the motor.
