couldn't find a post about my problem, hope someone can help me out

ka24de swapped on my 89 240sx, everything is hooked up turns on, its idling rough and when i step on gas a little it studers and shuts off. if i full throttle it it slowly starts reving up. i have no clue what it could be. everything is new on the car spark plugs and cables, distributor, ignition coil, maf sensor. any ideas??

Have any codes? My first guess would be tps sensor bad or going out.

just checked the ecu blink codes, it gives code 55 (No malfunction recorded).

Could it have anything to do with Idle Air Control? I mean, if I hold the throttle JUST RIGHT, the car stays running. But if I let go of the throttle it dies.

Thanks for your prompt reply by the way, I appreciate it!

P.S. Any easy way to double check my TPS is working besides buying a brand new one?

Backprobe it. Make sure set at like .4 volts. Also make sure as you open the throttle body, the voltage smoothly goes up to 4.xx bolts.

Your dizzy might be a little off. I know mine was doing the same thing last night before i got the dizzy set right. Just set #1 to tdc and pull the dizzy and put it back in so its lining up with where it should be. I dont think a vac leak would play with the motor like that...
