this is bull**** how the hell am I supposed to do this? I cant find the schematics anywhere and a nissan enthusiast forum cant help! So your telling me that you guys did the swaps and automatically knew what wire went to where. I already know that thats some bull. there is no one out there in this forum that can help!

Do you know how to remove the pins from the connectors (plug ins)? If not ask around locally, its not to hard with a little tool thats real cheap. Remove the pins from the connector on the DE harness so all you have is the 8 or 9 wires with the pins. Take your original sohc harness and remove the connector that plugged into your dash harness. hold the connector so it will plug into your dash harness and instert wires into it so the colors match up to the dash side. you will have 3 or 4 wires left over that dont match up to anything on the sohc dash harness, tape these back thet are for the consult and you wont need them.

did you do the swap yourself? because every time i go to ask someone about it they say the wires are never the same in a nissan, and you have to find the wiring schematics to splice into them and hardwire them. well this is what I hear from JGY and Adrenaline ( both custom Nissan experts) if this is true then we will c but as far as i remember they are not color coded.

Pictures would really help here, to show which plug your talking about. I always though that ka24de and ka24e were a plug and play (talking about S13 ka24de and ka24e).

Personally I never swaped from KA24e to ka24de. I replaced my ECM plug, because I cracked my old one in half by accident. Took me about 30min to redo 2 plugs thats about like 60 pins for each plug. I used a smaller paper clip, get one that is made from harder wire, so it wont bend much.

By the way there is no reason to get mad, mostly you'll get input from members that did this before. I assume since your tackling this task, you must be familiar with electronics and wiring/harness and such.

Got to 240edge.com, there you will find wiring schematics for both ka24e and ka24de(S13 and S14) in ether FSM.

You know you need KA24DE tachometer, because your ka24e tach wont read correct with ka24de, right?.
