Hey guys, well I bought a '90 240sx single slammer lmfao  , blew a rod so I ended up going dual cam found one for 500 plus upper harness so I ended up using my sohc transmission and lower harness as well, went to go check out his dual cam we compression test it, all cylinders read good came completed with dizzy and all only thing was that it was idling at about 3000 rpms his vacuum lines were mixed up a bit since egr and that good stuff lol was deleted also we didn't want to disconnect the whole upper harness, so I end up re painting my engine bay and got a new clutch kit, etc then I decided to drop her in the first problem was i believe the sohc trannys have the metal nipple/pin on the transmission, and the dohc have the nipple/pin on the block? I didn't bother looking ( being in a rush ) lol anyways it was a pain in the a** long story short we ended up grinding the pin off the block, tightened everything down connected the lower harness but it left me with two connectors left, one was for sohc P.S but my dohc P.S sensor for the pump is on the upper harness, not lower, and the second was near where the starter goes it has two prongs ill post a picture tomorrow..

Got everything else in we cranked it and didn't have spark, we have fuel but no spark whatsoever, but yet I got 12v going to the coil but nothing coming out :bs: ... what could it possible be? :wtf2: the ECU I got from the guy two weeks later hoping he didn't drop it or anything.. I did re pin the dash connector, water temp, tech, speedometer, a/c, ignition start signal and grounded the black wire to two ground wires from the actual plug.. Even bought another coil thinking the first one I just bought was a bad coil :ohno: .. should I try swapping ECU's? How can I use my DMM and test the dizzy? or CAS? Im pretty sure I read the coil right, my first time using a DMM lol or maybe its the Module? I know ima need to swap the tach if I want it to work, or do I need a dohc tach to complete the circuit or something because I see that same wire runs to the relay by my coil doesn't the coil have a pulse? maybe a bad relay? plugs look good.. seems like everything else works, like my cluster, brake light but my E-brake light does stay on when the E-brake is down I believe, well this is my first swap so bare with me please.. been searching and searching and seem to not find much.. :wtf2: :gotme

Lots of questions! Sorry if I'm misunderstanding.

Sounds like mainly you're not getting spark from your coil. I think it could either be the coil itself or the ignition module. You can pick both up from a junkyard pretty cheap. Also did you connect the ground near the coil?
