I just swapped a Ka24de into my 89 240sx. I have two problems with starting the car. I don't have any fuel or spark at the engine, but the engine will turn over. i have two plugs under the dash that are not pulled up. I used a 93 240sx 5 speed computer but my car is automatic.are the pinouts differant on a 5 speed computer than the ones on a automatic computer?any info that help?

Well you should still get fuel to the motor.... is the pump turning on? can you hear it prime?and as far as spark me personally when i didn't have the under dash plugs wired up i got spark but it was very weak and wouldn't start the car. SO here's the wiring taken from the write up here on nico...

Wiring:1. Locate the body harness (under dash harness that attached to the ECU) that attached to your old harness. Cut the old connector off (the one that attached to your SOHC harness) and attach your DOHC body harness connector. Just match the colors!Yellow/Red --TachYellow/Green--SpeedometorOrange--Ignition startBlack---GroundBlue/Black---Water temp sensor

There will be some wires left over. These are for the SOHC's diagnostic plug, and are unnecessary. Please note: Your car will NOT be able to hook up to a CONSULT tool.2. Use a soldering iron to splice the wires together. It makes for a much cleaner job, and a cleaner electrical signal.3. You need to swap out your tach if you want one that works. No wiring is involved, but it must be done. Simply pull your gauge cluster and remove the three screws behind the tach. Lift and separate. Replace.

DONE! Give the motor a whirl. If so

Ecu should be interchangeable i've used both with my swap and they work just fine.
