KA24e to DE starting problems

I got everything all swapped in and ready to go but when i try to start it it just cranks and cranks without even trying to start.So i take the coil wire off to see if its getting fire and it is so then i take the fuel rail loose to see if my injectors are pulsing and their not but i read somwhere some guy was having the same problem and he hooked up a sohc ecu and it made them pulse.I hooked up the sohc ecu and they started pulsing so i bolted the fuel rail back up and tried to start it and it backfired real loud like it was 180 degrees out of time but i set the distributor timing the right way so i intintionally set it out 180 degrees and no backfire and sounds like it wants to start when i fisrt turn the key but then just goes back to just cranking.I'm at a complete loss for why the injectors wont pulse with the dohc ecu which i know is good and why the timing is so a** backwards i would be forever grateful if someone could please assist me im about to set this thing ablaze! lol

Yeah it was i fixed the timing issue but the injectors still wont pulse does anybody have anymore suggestions?

It came out a working one but i'm going to borrow one of my friends out of his car just to make sure
