I was wondering, I currently have an '89 240sx sitting in my garage with a retired KA24E (stock) engine with a 5 speed transmission (also stock) in it and I had recently discovered a wrecked '91 240sx with a KA24DE (stock, with 89,000 miles on it ) but the car had an automatic transmission in it. Would I be able to swap the KA24DE from the wrecked 240sx in to my '89 without any problems or would there need to be any modifications done to my '89? Will my manual transmission work with the engine or do I need to mod it as well?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Wow, thanks for the response. Hope to get this engine by the end of this week, then work on getting it swapped over this up coming week. I'll see about posting pics and such.
