Hi, and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

My timing chain guide busted in half last week so I swaped out the gears chain guide and tensioner, after I put it all back together and checked the timing it seems that I can't get above about 12 deg.? can I take the oil pump / dist out and move them 1 tooth over on the worm gear from the crank so that I can get up to 15 deg? (I used a set of pictures from here to check the cam/crank/rotor alignment rotor pointed back and down twards the front suspention, #1 at tdc, crank pully at 0 deg. cam alignment pin pointed up)

Thanksnewboyspo

yes. You just got your distributor off a tooth when you put it back in. Moving it is fine.
